Enrolling at our school

What do I need to do?

You need to ring the school office on (07) 3906 7333 and make an appointment for enrolment.  The school's Guidance Officer will conduct the enrolment interview.  You may either collect an enrolment pack from the school office or you can download the various documents from this website.  We are happy to post enrolment information to families as well.

You will need to bring the following completed forms to the interview:

Other information which is required to confirm enrolment:

  • Birth certificate (if not coming directly from a state primary school)
  • For children who do not have an Australian passport and are not permanent residents - please bring your child's passport and your passport with visas to the interview.
  • Copy of your child's latest school report
  • Children enrolling from interstate will also need to complete and return an Interstate Data Transfer Note Consent Form, which can be requested from the school office.

All families enrolling at Wynnum State High School need to ensure that they are familiar with the school's Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students and School Dress Code Policy.

Please contact us if you have any questions.
