Chinese Student Visit to Wynnum State High School
From Monday 1st February to Wednesday 3rd February, Wynnum welcomed a group of 25 students and two staff from China. This was a wonderful cross-cultural experience with the students being diligently looked after by a number of Wynnum students as they escorted them to their lessons and around the school. The students from China, who were aged between 12 – 15, particularly liked observing lessons in Mathematics, Physics and HPE. Music was also a favourite. Although the trip was brief there were a lot of happy faces at the end of each day as the students learned many cultural lessons from each other.
Many thanks go to the staff at Wynnum for making our international guests feel so welcomed in their classrooms. A special thanks also go to the buddies listed below for their fantastic efforts!
