Thank you to all the students and teachers who worked so hard over a number of months to present The Great Australian Rock Musical. It was a huge success with over 100 students involved in the production. These students gave their all, from acting, singing and dancing on stage to the backstage crew, technical team, band members, front of house and the canteen helpers. This year we had students from Year 7 through to Year 12 who all worked together seamlessly to make the dream work.
The students presented five performances over four days. On Wednesday they performed to students from Wynnum SS. They then went on to perform for the school and wider community with over 1000 people coming to see them. It was a great effort from everyone involved and I am sure there were wonderful memories created that the students will cherish for the rest of their lives. Well done to all involved. It was a very PROUD moment for the Wynnum community.
