Year 7 Curriculum
Students in Year 7 study the following core subjects each semester:
- English
- Core Physical Education
- Mathematics
- Humanities (Incorporating History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business)
- Science
- Japanese or French
In addition, Year 7 students study the following subjects for one semester:
- An elective from The Arts (a choice of Art, Music, Dance or Drama)
- An elective from Technology (a choice of Digital, Materials, Food or Textiles Technology)
All students in Year 7 engage in a Pastoral Care period where the focus is on organisation, the development of resilience, emotional, physical, academic and social wellbeing.
Year 7 students have the opportunity to participate in a Gala Day sporting competition each term.
Year 8 Curriculum
Students in Year 8 study the following core subjects each semester:
- English
- Core Physical Education
- Mathematics
- Humanities (Incorporating History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business)
- Science
- Japanese or French is an elective subject in Year 8. Students who choose to study a language do so in place of an elective from The Arts or Technology.
Year 8 students also study the following subjects for one semester:

In Year 9, in addition to the core subjects, students will study an elective from The Arts, Technology or Business for both semesters. If a student wishes to continue their study of French or Japanese, they do so in place of a Technology elective.
