​​​​​​​​​Year 7 2025 Enrolment Information

(for in-catchment students only)

​​Wynnum State High School has a strong commitment to students who reside in our local catchment area. Under the Enrolment Management Plan, priority will be given to the enrolment of students who reside in the local catchment area.

We have now visited all our local feeder primary schools to hand out Enrolment Packs for Year 7 2025 to the Year 6 students.

Included in these packs are all of the documents required for enrolment as well as general information in regards to Year 7 Camp, our Inclusion Department and our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).

Enrolment Sessions

​Enrolment Sessions for all other in-catchment students

​​All prospective 2025 Year 7 students are required to attend an enrolment session.  These enrolment sessions will include a school tour and an optional 15 minute interview.  

Completed enrolment applications and all required paperwork are to be submitted to the office before attending one of the above sessions.

​​​What do I need to do?

For Years 8 - 12 you will need to ring the school office on (07) 3906 7333 and make an appointment for enrolment.  The relevant Year level Deputy Principal or our Guidance Officer will conduct the enrolment interview.  You may either collect an enrolment pack from the school office or you can download the various documents from this website.  We are happy to post enrolment information to families as well.

Other information which is required to confirm enrolment:

  • We need to sight the Birth certificate (if not coming directly from a state primary school)  
  • For children who do not have an Australian passport and are not permanent residents - please bring your child's passport and your passport with visas to the interview.  
  • Copy of your child's latest school report  
  • Children enrolling from interstate will also need to complete and return an Interstate Data Transfer Note Consent Form, which can be requested from the school office.

All families enrolling at Wynnum State High School need to ensure that they are familiar with the school's Student Code of Conduct​ and School Dress Code Policy​ and the Application of the Dress Code​​​ docum​​ent.
