Year 7 2026 Enrolment Information

Wynnum State High School has a strong commitment to students who reside in our local catchment area. Under the Enrolment Management Plan, priority will be given to the enrolment of students who reside in the local catchment area.
Enrolment Sessions
Over the next two weeks we will be visiting our local primary schools to talk to the Year 6 students and hand out enrolment packs.
We have already visited Wynnum State School, Manly West State School and Lota State School and will be visiting Wondall Heights State School on Thursday 8 May and Manly State School on Friday 9 May.
All prospective 2026 Year 7 students and their parent and/or carer are required to attend of the enrolment mornings indicated below. These sessions start at 9.00 am in the Star Theatre and will go for approximately an hour.
To attend one of these enrolment mornings:
- complete all required documents in the enrolment pack
- return your enrolment application to Wynnum SHS by delivering them to the Wynnum SHS school office (when you deliver the documents to the office, please bring your child's birth certificate which will be recorded and returned to you)
- register for one of the enrolment mornings either in person, by scanning the QR code below, or emailing Enrolments

What do I need to do?
For Years 8 - 12 you will need to ring the school office on (07) 3906 7333 and make an appointment for enrolment. You may either collect an enrolment pack from the school office or you can download the various documents from this website. We are happy to post enrolment information to families as well.

- We need to sight the Birth certificate and record the number
For children who do not have an Australian passport and are not permanent residents - please bring your child's passport and your passport with visas to the interview.
Copy of your child's latest school report
Children enrolling from interstate will also need to complete and return an Interstate Data Transfer Note Consent Form, which can be requested from the school office.
All families enrolling at Wynnum State High School need to ensure that they are familiar with the school's Student Code of Conduct and School Dress Code Policy and the Application of the Dress Code document.
