Wynnum State High School is very fortunate to have the services of Greg Deighton as our School Chaplain. It is a role that he relishes, interacting daily with students offering them friendship, support, encouragement and a listening ear.
Greg provides individual and family support for all members of the school Chaplain community: students, staff, parents and carers. He is in the prevention and support business: helping students find a better way to deal with issues ranging from family breakdown and loneliness to friendships and mental health. The chaplain works to foster a partnership between the school and the local churches, businesses and community organisations to provide a network of local support and assistance.
