The Inclusive Education Department at Wynnum State High School supports all students with disabilities in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 External link (DDA) and the Disability Standards for Education 2005 External link.

To ensure equal access and participation in education on the same basis as their peers, students with disability at Wynnum State High School may receive adjustments to their learning and assessment, based on the professional judgement of teachers, in consultation with the student and/or their parents, guardians or carers.

Students with substantial or extensive support needs may also be assigned an individual Inclusive Education Case Manager. Case Managers assist classroom teachers in developing and delivering reasonable adjustments for students and act as advocates and support systems for students and their families.
