Bayside District Cross Country
Students from Wynnum State High School did an outstanding job representing our school in the Bayside District Cross Country Carnival. It was an amazing day out and all our runners completed the course, some with mud sweat and tears. A special mention to Luke E who placed 11th in boys U15, Scarlett D who placed 13th in girls U13 and Roberta W who placed 15th in girls U16. A big congratulations to Paul S who qualified for the coming Met East Carnival. Well-done to all our runners who participated on the day, we are truly Wynnum PROUD!
Summer Interschool Season Most Valuable Players
Our Most Valuable Player awards are how we acknowledge an individual’s efforts to a team. During our full school assembly on Tuesday 21 May, we acknowledged the following students and awarded them an MVP medallion. We would also like to thank our coaches, particularly those who volunteer their time before and after school to train our students.
