On 2nd August, Wynnum State High School Dance students attended the Quota Beenleigh Dance Eisteddfod. The Junior and Senior Dance Troupes as well as the Years 10 and 11 Dance class and two student choreographed ensembles performed in a variety of styles (Jazz, Contemporary and Musical Theatre).
They competed against schools from all over Brisbane and the Gold Coast and received fantastic results. Out of the five performances Wynnum SHS placed 1st, 3rd and highly commended and every performance scored above 80 out of 100. The students showed team spirit and proudly represented our school. Congratulations to all of the dancers!
