Last week our Junior Concert Band concluded its annual promotional tour of the local primary schools.
Wynnum West State School, Wynnum State School, Manly State School, Lota State School, Manly West State School and Wondall Heights State School welcomed us into their beautiful schools.
We had so much fun performing for the primary school students with plenty of audience interaction. There was plenty of clapping and cheering by the audience, learning about the instruments, pirates and even a trip to Egypt with local classroom teachers being wrapped as Mummies!
A big thank you to the amazing Instrumental Music students for their work ethic, talents and sense of fun. We learn more in music than just playing the instruments. It’s a sense of belonging to a tribe!
